SubPirate manifest itself as a force in the music scene early 2009. after years as a drummer and session musician in and out of recording studios with various bands and tour fill ins throughout the 2000's...late 2007 sub was involved in a messed up car crash that fucked his wrist's and hands up to the point he quit playing drums ...at the time computer music was becoming a thing for sub to get that musical release. A friend of his Sidedraft turned him onto this emerging sound called Dub-Step.. it was pure love..for the next few years he hosted several party's and club nights..one in particular at a dive-bar in downtown St Petersburg called TURBO TUESDAY, what had been a open mic night at the bar he tookover and turned into Turbo.. collaborating with a few other local forward thinking Dj's and producers..Turbo remains the true underground of electronic music in tampa bay. flash forward a few years to 2014 fresh with a whole slew of new skills under his belt. projection mapping.. laser show designing club soundsystem installing schmedium sized side stage festival quaiity production.
